Type of Course : Level III (avionic chapter level II), Line and Base Maintenance Training (according to  ATA 104) for obtaining a type rating qualification.

This training course gives a detailed description of the operating procedure, the positional configuration of the components, their installation and removal as well as the BITE- and debugging methods according to the maintenance manual.

In addition to the information contained in level I and level II training, upon completion of the level III training, the participant will be able to:

Describe aircraft systems and their handling

Identify the location of system components

Describe the relevant safety precautions

Explain the normal function of the aircraft systems

Identify and use relevant aircraft documentation

Describe procedure for removal / installation unique to the aircraft type

Describe system, engine and component functional checks as specified in the maintenance manual

Use and interpret on-board diagnostics to a Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect to fault diagnosis and rectification

Qualifications : EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Category b! or equivalent

Examination :

5 tests, multiple choice
